*Regardless of the source of the nomination, the parent must agree and sign consent for the required testing only after current vision and hearing testing has been passed. Testing will be completed and parents will be invited to an eligibility meeting within 60 days of the date the signed consent was received by the CLUE Teacher or the CLUE Office. |
The Universal Screening Process
is used after each benchmark assessment to help identify students in Grades K-8 who may need gifted services. The TDOE requires specific paperwork to be completed and assessed during a comprehensive gifted evaluation. Below are digital copies of the paperwork to be completed by parents and/or teachers.
Forms may be completed digitally and emailed to the CLUE teacher or clue@scsk12.org at any time. For assistance with completing a form, you may reach us at 901-416-0155 or clue@scsk12.org. The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this:
A human creature born abnormally, inhumanly sensitive.
To him... a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy,
a joy is ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death.
